December 16, 2008 (three days after the finale of Miss World 2008), the site announced Missworld Duong Truong Thien Ly won the title of "Miss Favourite" (Choice Awards over the most) (Miss People's Choice). Although before that the Miss World organization announced that this title will be awarded on the final night of competition (Dec. 13) and winners will be made the semi-finals (top 15), but then just a few hours before the finale, the award will not be awarded that night, and Duong Truong Thien Ly also not in the top 15 most beautiful people as expected
Duong Truong Thien Ly, the Vietnamese representative for Miss World 2008 Contest in South Africa, has arrived at Johannesburg to join 112 other beauties. Thien Ly was warmly welcomed in Johannesburg and stays at Sandton Sun Hotel. Thien Ly shares the room with Miss Thailand Ummarapas Jullakasian. Here are the latest images of Thien Ly at the airport.
